Picking a Launch Day (Friday Is Not a Bad Choice)
There is no perfect weekday. Here is how to think about the crowd, your audience and your own energy before you choose.

Everyone has a theory about the best day to launch. The honest answer is that the board opens fresh every weekday, and what matters more than the day is whether you are around to answer people on it.
Early in the week brings the most makers launching, so the board is busier and the competition for attention is higher. Late in the week it is quieter, which can mean fewer votes in total and a better chance of standing out.
A Friday launch gives you a calm board and a weekend to read comments without a queue of other work. The Weekly Build then picks up the strongest launches on Monday, so a good Friday gets a second wave at the start of the next week.
Pick the day your audience is most likely to be online, and the day you can give the most attention. If you are building for developers, a weekday morning in their time zone is a safe bet. If you are building for hobbyists, a weekend-adjacent day can work well.
